my dad

today is my dad's birthday

and i feel really blessed

to have such a great daddy.

things that remind me of my dad:

cowboy boots, homemade salsa, red long-johns, diagrams on the snackbar, don't touch the walls, follow the brethren, haulin' hay, "ya turkeybutt," excedrin, horses, horse rides, listerine, vegetables from the garden, really, really loud whistles, baseball hats, clay pigeons, morning prayers, country-western music, boating and snowmobiling, chrevrolet trucks, fox news, big n rich, wranglers, german chocolate cake, cowboy shirts, almond roca, penticton waterslides, popcorn and juice on sundays
