1. a newly tiled kitchen floor!!
my mom and dad took all 3 kids for the weekend so that mike and i could finally get our kitchen tiled. our friend sandra came over late thursday night and got us started on the project. i was so nervous beforehand about making them all straight and getting the edges cut, but it was a piece of cake!! sandra halped us for a couple hours on thursday and friday i woke up and started laying the rest of the floor. mike was working from home and so he was able to cut the edge pieces for me in between emails and phone calls. we finished laying the tile friday and then grouted and cleaned saturday. we also got to hang out with friends both nights and have a nice date.
next project is to paint these cabinets and replace all the hardware! and,
2. this boy is 100% potty-trained!!! 
even at bedtime! he has been accident free for 2 weeks now since being at gramma's and we are soo so grateful for gramma b and her consistent efforts with Dames! he was so close before but still had issues with #2. now he's a CHAMP! i don't even have to remind him anymore--he just runs in and goes all on his own every single time. he's so excited too... after he goes and flushes he says "you want to hear this mama?" and then slams the toilet lid down and waits for a surprised reaction from me... so cute. thanks marmy!!!

oh my goodness the floor looks fantastic!! love it shell and i love the decorations... like the flower thing on the fireplace and the little metal table with the decrative pot in the kitchen!!! soo cute! and did i mention i LOVE your kids!! way to go dames! cant wait to see you at easter!!
