first day of school 2011

Can't believe the first day of school is here! I had a fun date with just Carter and Sydney the day before and we got a few new school clothes...talk about putting it off until the last minute! It was fun to spend that one on one time with them. We got backpacks, new jeans, and a few new shirts for each. Then had a fun lunch at Jimmy Johns.
Here they are modeling some of their new clothes for the first day of school:

Carter is a big fourth grader this year!

Carter's teacher this year is Mrs. Howard. She recently had a baby so he has Mrs. Barrett for the first few months. She is great!

Carter has several buddies in his class ...probably because there are only 2 fourth grade classes this year!

These cute girls were in the same kindergarten class last year--and here they are a year older on the first day of first grade--some of Sydney's best buddies!
