4th of July...a little late

ok, so i know it was over a week ago, but better late then never?! we had a fun fourth of july in winthrop with my side of the family. some of the highlights:

Jumping off the rope swing at Patterson Lake. What a rush!! Once you swing out over the water it's about a 25 foot drop and it is quite exhilerating! Was fun to feel like a young daredevil again!

On the 4th we went to the Twisp Parade--pretty weaksauce, but the kids had fun chasing after the candy that was thrown to them. Then went to the park for the Methow Arts Festival and the kids had fun doing various crafts and we all got our faces painted. Sydney made this stick horse and Carter made a wooden sailboat.

Had to get a family picture of us all mid-air. We love to jump!
Then we enjoyed a day out on Pearrygin Lake. Carter kneeboarded all by himself and without any bribing or coaxing! Next time we'll get him on skis! Everyone loved the tube and even Damian started crying when we took him off! Check out all the kids' faces in this picture:

Fireworks were fun at the Bradshaw house with an entertaining show courtesy of Mike, Paul, and Parker! The kids loved the sparklers of course...

And it wouldn't be a complete weekend without a little Guitar Hero action! Carter is actually getting pretty good at it! Here he and Melissa pose with their guitars...
