a child's paradise

i was washing dishes yesterday and i had sent carter and sydney to the backyard to play. i looked out the window and i could hear them, but couldn't see them. i could, however, see a huge tree shaking. so i grabbed the camera and found them out in their little fort.

i had never actually been inside the fort before until yesterday and it is pretty cool. it's a totally open area under all these branches and a perfect spot for kids. it's a totally different world under there! they were out there with a rope, swinging from the branches like tarzan. and of course, syd is in her boots...
