it's the most wonderful time of the year...

every year i love getting out all the christmas decorations. it seems like each year we collect a few more and so it's fun to bring them out. mike's mom usually always gets me 1 or 2 things and my mom has added pieces to my nativity every year along with many cute decorations as well. i'll post a few of my favorites:

the newest addition: hand-made stockings by a friend in mike's mom's ward. we picked out the yarn and hired her to make these for us last year. they turned out great! notice how HUGE they are! we'll have to stuff them full!

i love my nativity. the first christmas we were married, mike's aunt nancy bought us the first part of the nativity: mary, joseph, baby jesus, lamb and shepherd. my mom has added to our set the camel, wisemen, animals, etc...

my sister and i made these cute BELIEVE blocks this year and i love how they turned out. although this is not the original set i made (that's another story), i love em!

and this is my favorite ornament. given to me as a child by a sweet woman named ann. she loves our family dearly and while growing up, she gave my sisters and i an ornament every year. i love visiting and singing christmas carols to her every year with my family. she is one of the sweetest, joyful women i know and she reminds me a lot of my grandma pearl.
